What's a VIP Day and Who Are They Right For?

A VIP Day is an 8-hour timeframe where we solely focus on your project and complete it in just one day. Different designers have different variations of versions of a VIP Day. Some call theirs "Website in a Day", or "Design Intensives", there are many different names for it!

Are you a relatively new business working with a limited marketing budget? Do you need a simple website but just don't have the time (or know-how) to build it? Or maybe you want to avoid the lengthy launch process that comes with a full-scope, custom website project? Maybe you need a simple logo package to start out with and not a full-scope brand identity just yet.

A VIP Day could be the ideal solution. We can also do other things on your design or marketing to-do list during a VIP Day such as branded social media templates, Flodesk set-up, lead magnet design, a website refresh, blog writing, adding advanced features or integrations into your existing site, and other daunting tasks on your to-do list!

So how exactly does a Website In A Day Service Work?

ONBOARDING

First, we hop on a discovery call to see if your project is an ideal fit for a VIP Day, or if you'd benefit more from a custom project
We'll discuss available project dates, and talk about what I'll need from you to complete your website in just one day, and if you're ready to get the ball rolling, I'll finish setting up your client portal where you'll sign the contract and pay the 50% deposit to lock your date in.

PLANNING

Leading up to the start date, you'll work on gathering all the needed materials needed for your project (ie: photos, copy, services info, etc), and turn them in no later than one week prior to your project date.
What I'll need from you, depending on whether it's a branding or website type of project, might be your website copy, services descriptions, brand photos, contact info, your design questionnaire filled out, and more

EXECUTION

On the day of, we'll check in with each other at 8am before I get started, just to make sure we're both on the same page one last time
If it's a website project we worked on together, we'll hop on a phone call at the very end of the day so I can walk through setting up or transferring your domain name to your website, help you sign up for a hosting plan, and transfer the website over to you.
If we work on branding, you'll be sent a video walk-through where you can go over and approve it all before I export an send over your final files

How To Know If a VIP Day Is a Good Fit For Your Project

You know exactly what you need or are envisioning in a website or logo package and you just need a designer to help you execute that vision

You can make timely decisions when it comes to feedback and revisions without needing an extended amount of time to think about & approve things

You're not looking to have a huge or extensive, complex site with all the bells and whistles with lots of pages, in-depth features, & automations— you just need a professional site with all the essentials and basics to get you started

You might be operating on a smaller marketing budget right now, & you're not ready to spend a few thousand or more on a custom website or branding, or you need your website or brand launched like yesterday

VIP Day Pricing & What We All We Can Get Done

Our VIP Days are just $1,375 for your 8-hour, uninterrupted project time slot. Aside from a few coffee and snack breaks throughout the day, I'll be working solely on your project, focusing on getting all the things done in the amount of time we have. A 50% deposit is due upon booking your VIP Day in order to hold your spot on my calendar, and the remaining 50% is due at the end of the VIP Day before we launch your new site, or send over your final logo files.

We can get a number of things done during our VIP Day together such as branded social media templates, lead magnet design, basic website updates and maintenance, troubleshooting, adding new features and integrations into your existing Wix or Squarespace site, and more. But our most popular VIP Day projects consist of designing a basic logo package (primary logo, secondary logo, sub-mark, color palette, and typography pairing) during our time together, or a semi-custom website where we start from a professional template as our base, and customize it to your branding & business.
